The supercross series rolled into Toronto this past weekend.
This year I was sitting the stands with a good seat to take some
pictures,last year I was on the floor which was fun but very restrictive.
Where you could shoot from on the floor seemed more limited this
year more than last year from the media map I looked at.
I think that's why I like outdoors better.
I went over Friday to check out the "pit party" which had never happened before,
due too space and unpredictable weather.
Lots of people showed up and autograph lines were long and
being able to walk the track was cool and a freestyle MX show made it a great time .
I went too the LooseMoose Friday night ,DMX were hosting a supercross pre and after party
sponsored by SCOTT.
I missed the Saturday night party but saw couple riders from Canadian series and Supercross series.
Chants of TwoTwo Motorsports as Chad Reed showed up and Ken Rozcen was there too.
Kyle Keast was there and said he should be ready to go in about 3 weeks.
I got to the Rogers Centre when the gates opened to the public to watch practise.
If your taking pictures its great you can go around to different spots in the lower level
and get some cool shot maybe better than floor shots.
I had my 70-200mm f2.8 lens which from the 2nd level might have pushed it to
its limits and wished I had a 300mm f2.8 but don't think i could get that one in the door.
The racing was good and the track held up great and the stones were plenty.

The DMX party at the LooseMoose was fun.
MXP's Marc Landry was on hand to capture
the action with his new Nikon D4.
Canada's Cole Thompson only made it 3 laps,
then had a hard crash in the woops was out for the nights action.
Billy "The Robe"Bigwave was on hand and
had a good laugh about him poking fun at me all good!
I think it is some kind of tradition there be pink riding
gear at Toronto Supercross every year.
Practise saw Justin Barcia doing some cool whips.
Slash did a cool job with the National anthem.

Ken Roczen had the lead for a couple laps,
being chased by Justin Barcia
Until Barcia made this smash and pass
and almost knocked Roczen off his bike.
This was a nice 3 way battle for a couple laps.
Barcia had a little trouble with the woops,almost letting Roczen catch him.

Metcalfe and Musquin went bar handle to bar handle
through the woops.
The crowd went nuts when Windham passed Millsaps.
